WHAT PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT & WHY?
We only collect data relevant to the day to day running of our business. Eg. Names, contact numbers, E-mail addresses, home addresses etc. All of this is importantly to us so that we can contact you further regarding scheduling your lessons.
COMMENTS
When visitors leave comments on our site we collect the data in the comments form, & also the visitors IP address & browser user agent string to help spam detection. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
MEDIA
If you upload images to our website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data included (Eg. GPS Co-ordinates)
CONTACT FORM
Only relevant details to contact students regarding scheduling initial lessons are taken.
COOKIES
If you make a purchase via our site or leave a comment/query you may opt in to save your name, email address etc. in cookies. These are for your own convenience so that you don’t have to fill in your details again for future purchases/comments. These will last for one year. If you do not have an account & log in, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser allows cookies. This contains no personal data & will be discarded once you close your browser.

Any personal data shared with us will be kept for no more than 2 years, in keeping with EU law.

It’s your data, not ours. At any time you can request to see what personal data we have belonging to you & as its yours you can also request that we delete it.
WHERE DO WE SEND YOUR DATA?
We do not send your data anywhere. If you make an online purchase/payment through our site you do so through our payment partners Stripe. Woo Commerce handle the ‘Shop front’ side of things. We at Motorvate do not have any access to your debit/credit card details.
HOW WE PROTECT YOUR DATA?
All data is fully encrypted & password protected. It is only accessible by our dedicated data controller.
WHAT DATA BREACH PROCEDURES HAVE WE PLACE?
We at Motorvate have a detailed data breach response & the correct course of action that will be taken will be determined by the severity of the data breach.
WHAT THIRD PARTIES DO WE RECEIVE DATA FROM?
We receive your contact details from our online trading partners Woo Commerce & confirmation of your payment being received by Stripe on completion of every successful transaction.
WHAT AUTOMATED DECISION MAKING AND/OR PROFILING WE DO WITH YOUR DATA?
We use Akismet plugin for spam detection & we do not carry out any customer profiling.
