Massive congratulations to Eimear Moylan, Ashbourne, Co.Meath on passing her practical driving test in Finglas 18/08/15
Eimear started Essential Driver Training with Motorvate 17th Jan 2015.
Back then Eimear had roughly 3 hours driving under her belt, but hadn’t been on a public road.
We pretty much did 1 hour every week over a 3-4 month period, with Eimear spending 3-4 hours practicing with her sponsor in between.
This really helped her progress & by the end of our 12 lessons Eimear would have easily had 48 hours “On the road” experience.
Shortly after Eimear booked her test & was really starting to gain the competency, confidence & experience that the Driver Tester looks for in a test candidate.
To put just a little more pressure on Eimear she was offered a job in London with the promise of a company car, but she had to have a full licence to qualify.
Things just got real & Eimear was now really feeling it.
We completed 3 pre test lessons in the run up to her date, just to fine tune her driving & we also had a Mock Test the evening before.
It was a fabulous Summer’s eve & we encountered literally every hazard possible that evening & the Mock Test didnt have a great outcome.
I explained to Eimear that it was best to get all of her mistakes out of her system the eve before, rather than the day of her test.
I explained where she went wrong & reminded her how to deal these situations.
Eimear was now extremely nervous, but really held her composure on the day & managed to pass with flying colours, on her first attempt too!
I’m delighted to say that Eimear has now joined our ever increasing list of satisfied customers.
